A Crunchy Snack, a Broken Tooth, and New Homecoming Dates—You Can’t Make This Up!
Hello, wonderful friends!
Just when we thought our journey back to the States would be smooth sailing, fate decided to spice things up—with a little help from some chicharrón de chancho. Picture this: We’re eagerly counting down the days to celebrate Charles Dean Ministries International, Inc.’s 25th anniversary, then—crunch! One enthusiastic bite later and I’m staring at a broken tooth and a calendar that’s about to get rearranged.
What started as a simple snack turned into an epic dental saga. My dentist’s verdict? Not just a busted tooth, but a sneaky chronic infection, too. Now, with some super-strength medicine in hand, I’m scheduled for a grand dental follow-up on August 21st. That’s when we’ll know if it’s time for the next step toward a new and improved smile!
So, what does this all mean for our travel plans? Well, instead of arriving as originally scheduled, we’re looking at the last week or two of September for our big return to the USA. We’ll keep you posted as soon as our timeline is solid (and my teeth are, too!).
Until then, thank you for cheering us on, laughing with us through the unexpected, and being the incredible group, you are. We can’t wait to see you all—smiling wide and ready for stories you wouldn’t believe if they hadn’t happened to us. Stay tuned, America: we’re coming soon, dental adventures and all!
